Type X-700 Sample Cell System
Assembly Step 1: After film and ring has been applied, place XAT-Assembly Tool on ring. Push down until ring is firmly seated against cup flange.
Step 2: Invert Assembly Tool with sample cell. You may vent at this time.
Step 3: Place X-700 Cell Holder over bottom of sample cell, press firmly down; remove Assembly Tool. Do not invert the assembly if you have vented cell. Ready for analysis!
TECHREF® X-700 Sample Cell System is designed for ease of use and manufactured as a reusable product for the Hitachi Lab-X5000 and X-Supreme8000; and Oxford Lab-X3000, QX, Twin X X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzers in combination with the TECHREF® Type C-700 (31 mm) Sample Cells.
- TECHREF® X-700 System uses two aluminum parts which are anodized with a Dupont Teflon® coating.
- The system is designed to be reused.
- The XAT-700 Assembly Tool is used to seat the ring which holds and seals the desired film after sample is loaded.
- Then the Type X-700 Cell Holder is used to support the Sample Cell during analysis.
- This assembly has the dimension form factor consistent with that of Hitachi/Oxford products.
- TECHREF® X-700 System has been demonstrated to operate with the Hitachi/Oxford Auto Samplers.
- There is no need to take the Sample Cell apart to recover the Holder, just simply pop the used Sample Cell into a receptacle.
